MESSAGE - OCTOBER 9, 2025
Attached is a new flyer for our lessons/dancing created by Shannen
Guillen. Thank you Shannen. This is an example on how any of you can
help in any way that you have expertise in. It makes the overall effort
easier for all.

Please use the flyer to give to your friends or post on bulletin boards
where you can. Encourage prospects to contact me and get on this
mailing list. This is the way I can keep track of willing dancers and
when they are available to begin. Once we have enough we can start,
but I need the feed back from all involved.

The older version flyer that I sent out about a week ago, is also still
valid information.

The upcoming holiday season means we will be dancing to the music that
corresponds to the season. Lots of fun.

The yard signs thus far have brought in 3 potential dancers. If you
can sponsor one in your yard let me know.

MESSAGE - SEPTEMBER 27, 2025
SPECIAL NOTICE

After talking to the dancers who did attend last week, we collectively decided
to postpone the square dancing/lessons, until more dancers who live up North arrive,
or until we can get more locals to commit. The turnout the first two weeks of dancing
was not sufficient to warrant continuing.

I am asking those who plan on participating once they arrive in Highlands County, to
let me know your arrival date, so I can plan a new start date based upon everyone's input.

I will continue to advertise locally and collect names. Just today as a result of our yard
signs, I add another couple who just moved to Sebring. They have danced in the past in New Jersey.

It is looking like the restart will occur around November/December, but I need your feedback please.
Hopefully the holidays will not interfere with the participation.

MESSAGE - AUGUST 26, 2025
Here is this year's flyer for square dance beginner lessons which begin
Sept 14. Please print some copies and help distribute where ever you
can. I need your help to spread the word. Please talk this up when
you go to the dentist, doctor, while in the store check out line,
neighbors, church members, etc. Talk it up on Facebook or Instagram,
also. Without your help in spreading the word, it makes it harder to
get the dancers we need to make our club grow.

I have a couple of street signs that say: Learn to Square Dance
...419-376-0557. If you have a place where it can be displayed, where
it will not be taken down by county workers, let me know and I will get
it to you.

You are on my mailing list because you expressed an interest or have
already participated with the dancing. If you no longer wish to get
these emails, just let me know. Your reason for removal from the
mailing list would be information helpful to me.
